An Ordinary product designer

I’m Nishesh Jaiswal, an energetic designer who combines rapid prototyping, interaction, motion, and visual design to transform thorny problems into elegant solutions.

My aim is simple. To make designs as humanly as possible.

How Dota 2 taught me to be a better designer

Dota 2 is an online MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena). Playing it since 2015 taught me how to make intentional decisions in complicated situations. I had to work as a team of 5 players, a team that never met, those 5 players are complete strangers playing together to achieve a single goal - WIN the game! This game consisting of 121 heroes to play and make instant decisions, reiterating them, constant communication with the team, a game lasting for 45 mins average, understanding the psychology of fellow players and the opponents under immense competitive conditions, these were the lessons I learnt that I applied to design and helped make me a designer that I am today!

Things that put a smile on my face
Dota 2, Cricket, landscape photography, milk-shakes and Burgers! 🙂

Oh, and a small but interesting academic research paper that I produced during my post-grad:
