An ordinary product designer (with a not-so-ordinary curiosity)

I’m Nishesh Jaiswal, an energetic designer who combines rapid prototyping, interaction, motion, and visual design to transform thorny problems into elegant solutions.

My aim is simple: to make design as human as possible — intuitive, inclusive, and delightful.

How Dota 2 taught me to be a better designer

Since 2015, Dota 2 (an online MOBA game) has been more than just a game to me — it’s been a masterclass in teamwork, strategy, and adaptability.

Playing with four complete strangers to achieve a shared goal taught me to make intentional decisions in complex, fast-changing environments. With 121 heroes, constantly shifting tactics, and the need for real-time communication and psychology reading, I learned lessons that directly shape how I approach design today: think ahead, collaborate deeply, iterate fast, and always adapt.

Things that put a smile on my face
Dota 2, Cricket, landscape photography, milk-shakes and Burgers! 🙂

Oh, and I’m endlessly fascinated by AI — I’m always exploring how to integrate it into my workflow to learn, prototype, and push creative boundaries.

Oh, and a small but interesting academic research paper that I produced during my post-grad:
